Privacy Policy

1. Who this policy covers

This policy explains how Randomizer ("the app"), published by Codigic Solutions ("we", "us"), handles information when you use the app on iOS or Android.

2. Information we collect

Push notification registration. If you allow notifications, the app generates a push token and stores it in our database together with:

• A device identifier (Android's ANDROID_ID, or iOS's identifierForVendor) — used only so a reinstall updates your existing entry instead of creating a duplicate.
• Your platform (iOS or Android) and the app version installed.

This is the only information the app sends off your device. It is not linked to your name, email, contacts, or any other personal identity — we simply don't collect those.

Everything else stays on your device. Your dice settings, number ranges, picker lists, sound and shake preferences, and toss/roll history are stored locally on your phone and are never transmitted anywhere.

3. How we use it

• To deliver push notifications you've opted into, such as update announcements.
• To check, on launch, whether a newer version of the app is required — this reads a public configuration value and does not send any information about you.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or analytics.

4. Permissions the app requests

• Notifications — to deliver push notifications. You can decline or revoke this at any time in your device settings.
• Microphone (Android) — declared by the audio library the app uses to play its built-in sound effects. The app does not record or otherwise access microphone input.

5. Where information is stored

Push registrations are stored in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore), which acts as our infrastructure provider. Access is restricted by database security rules: a device may only create or update its own entry, and nothing in the app can read, list, or delete other entries — that list is accessible only to us, through separately secured tooling.

6. Data retention and deletion

A device's push registration is automatically removed once notifications to it consistently fail — the usual sign of an uninstall. You can also stop all data collection at any time by revoking notification permission or uninstalling the app. To request earlier deletion, contact us at the address below.

7. Sharing and third parties

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. It is processed by Google Firebase solely as our infrastructure provider, under Google's own security and data-processing terms.

8. Children's privacy

Randomizer is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will remove it.

9. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
